All educational materials, learning resources and project outputs created within the 3D Academy project are shared under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) licence unless otherwise stated. This allows educators and learners to use, adapt and redistribute the materials, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original authors and the project.
The project promotes the use of open-source software whenever possible. When proprietary digital tools are used, they are carefully selected to ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and with their respective privacy and security policies.
All partners are committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal data are processed only for educational purposes, with the necessary informed consent obtained from participants or their legal guardians where required. Images, videos and other personal information are published only with the appropriate permissions and in accordance with each partner institution’s data protection policies.
The consortium also promotes respect for intellectual property rights by encouraging the use of openly licensed resources, proper attribution of third-party content and the creation of original materials whenever possible. Students are encouraged to develop good digital citizenship practices by understanding copyright, licensing and the responsible use of digital resources.
