3D Academy is an Erasmus+ KA2 cooperation project that brings together three secondary schools from Spain, the Czech Republic and Poland to promote innovation in education through 3D design, digital fabrication and STEM learning. The project enables students and teachers to collaborate in international teams, participate in learning mobilities and develop practical skills in 3D modelling, additive manufacturing and emerging digital technologies.
To maximise the impact and visibility of the project, each international mobility was organised as a learning conference and multiplier event. In addition to the training activities, the programme included dissemination sessions, presentations, workshops and meetings with educational institutions, universities, companies and local stakeholders. This approach enabled participants to share the project’s achievements, exchange good practices, establish new collaborations and ensure that the results reached a wider educational and professional community beyond the project partner
Through project-based learning, intercultural cooperation and hands-on activities, participants strengthen their digital, technical, linguistic and social competences while working on real-world challenges. The project also encourages creativity, sustainability, inclusion and entrepreneurship by connecting schools with universities, technology companies, FabLabs and local organisations, creating valuable synergies with other educational initiatives such as STEM competitions, environmental programmes and innovation projects.
One of the main outcomes of the project is the creation of a wide range of Open Educational Resources (OER) released under Creative Commons licences. These teaching materials are designed to be integrated into the school curriculum, allowing other educators to freely use, adapt and share them in their own classrooms.
International mobilities are a key element of the project. Students stay with host families, providing them with an authentic experience of everyday life in another European country. This unique opportunity promotes intercultural understanding, inclusion, language development and a deeper appreciation of the cultural diversity and shared values of Europe.
All activities, resources and results are documented and shared through the project website and the eTwinning TwinSpace, ensuring the dissemination, sustainability and transferability of the project’s outcomes to the wider educational community. Throughout the project, all partners follow the quality, inclusion, safety, data protection and ethical standards established by both the Erasmus+ Programme and eTwinning, guaranteeing a secure, collaborative and high-quality learning environment for all participants.
