Zespół Szkół Technicznych

Zespół Szkół Technicznych i Placówek im. Stanisława Staszica w Nowym Targu is a public technical secondary school located in Nowy Targ, in southern Poland. It provides vocational and technical education for students from the Podhale region and prepares them both for employment and for further studies at universities.

The school is one of the largest educational institutions in the Małopolska region, with around 2,000 students and about 150 teachers. It offers various technical and vocational programmes, including fields such as electrical engineering, telecommunications and ICT, construction, surveying, and automotive mechanics.

Students receive both theoretical education and practical training. Practical skills are developed in school laboratories and workshops as well as during internships and training in local companies. The curriculum combines general education subjects with professional courses and prepares students for vocational exams and the Polish secondary school leaving exam (matura).

The school is run by the Nowy Targ County authorities and operates under the Polish education system. Its mission is to support students’ technical skills, creativity, and professional development while responding to the needs of the modern labour market.
