Project Logo Contest – Medelova SS, Erasmus+ 3D Academy
During the February 2026 mobility P1 – “3D Printing Step by Step” at Medelova Secondary School in Novi Jičín, Czech Republic, students participating in the Erasmus+ 3D Academy project had the exciting opportunity to engage in a logo design contest for the project. The contest was organized as a creative activity to select an official visual identity for the Erasmus+ initiative, with submissions designed by students before the mobility.

The workshop began by presenting all the logo proposals from participating students, highlighting the creativity, originality, and design skills demonstrated in each entry. Students were encouraged to discuss the elements of each design, including color choices, symbols, and how effectively the logos represented the goals of the 3D Academy project, such as innovation, technology, collaboration, and international exchange.

Participants were involved in a selection process, where they could vote on their favorite designs, provide constructive feedback, and reflect on what makes an effective project logo. This collaborative approach not only helped identify the winning design but also fostered a sense of ownership and pride among the students, as their ideas contributed directly to the project’s identity.

The logo contest also provided a valuable learning experience in graphic communication and visual representation, showing students how visual elements can convey complex concepts and values in a simple and impactful way. It emphasized the importance of creativity in project development, while connecting digital design skills with the broader goals of the Erasmus+ program.
For the Erasmus+ 3D Academy participants, this activity was both educational and motivational, allowing them to combine design thinking, teamwork, and international collaboration. The selected logo now serves as a recognizable symbol of the project, representing the shared efforts of students and schools across partner countries.

This activity was an integral part of the mobility P1 – “3D Printing Step by Step”, reinforcing the project’s goals of creativity, student engagement, and international cooperation while celebrating the contributions of young learners to the identity of the Erasmus+ initiative.
