Multiplicity Event: 3D Material Demostration in Ostrava Technical University
Ostrava, February 19, 2026 — the Technical University of Ostrava plays an important role in research and education. It integrates 3D printing into engineering programs, allowing students to design, test, and manufacture parts using additive manufacturing technologies.
Ingeniers of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava ,” offering students a comprehensive introduction to modern additive manufacturing technologies.
The activities brought together international students from Spain (IES Playamar), Poland (ZST Center), and the Czech Republic (Mendelova Secondary School), fostering collaboration and cultural exchange in a highly technical learning environment.
The first session addressed advanced materials and topology optimization, highlighting efficient and lightweight design strategies.

A seccond session showcased the practical applications of 3D printing in fields such as medicine, engineering, and sports.

From these lines we want to thanks them because they proved to be an ideal environment for learning, experimentation, and international cooperation, reinforcing the objectives of the Erasmus+ “3D Academy” project.
