Stable Diffusion & Meshy AI Workshop


This workshop explores AI-powered 3D content creation. Participants will generate images using AI tools such as Stable Diffusion and transform concepts into 3D models with Meshy. The session introduces creative workflows combining artificial intelligence, concept art, and rapid 3D prototyping.

During the second mobility of the 3D Academy Erasmus+ Project in Torremolinos, Mr. Alfonso Ballesteros delivered an engaging presentation and practical demonstration on the use of Artificial Intelligence applied to 3D design and digital fabrication.

The workshop introduced students to innovative AI tools such as Meshy and Stable Diffusion, showing how artificial intelligence can be used to generate creative ideas, produce digital content, and transform concepts into 3D models. As part of the activity, students were invited to suggest different animals, which were then generated using AI-based tools and converted into printable 3D models.

The demonstration provided participants with a hands-on understanding of the potential of AI in design, creativity, and manufacturing. After creating the digital models, several of the students’ AI-generated animals were successfully produced using our Bambu Lab 3D printer, allowing participants to see the complete workflow from artificial intelligence-generated concepts to physical objects.

This activity highlighted the growing importance of emerging technologies in education and encouraged students to explore the creative possibilities offered by the combination of Artificial Intelligence, 3D modelling, and additive manufacturing.
